Once you have a list of potential plumbers, get a written estimate (including breakdown of parts vs labour) and ask them for the names and contact details of past clients. Ask the referrals about their experience with the plumber. Did the plumber meet the schedule and budget in his quote? Did he clean up after the job was done?
